المشاريع الاحترافية لعدد من موظفيها

نظم مكتب ادارة المشاريع  بوزارة الاشغال وشؤون البلديات والتخطيط العمراني دورة في شهادة مساعد مدير معتمد في ادارة المشاريع وذلك في مركز البلديات للتدريب التابع للوزارة.

وأكد رئيس وحدة إدارة المشاريع مستشار الشؤون الهندسية بالوزارة م. عبدالنبي الصباح إن هذه الدورة تعتبر جزءاً من مهام مكتب ادارة المشاريع لتطوير الموظفين ولتحقيق رؤية وزارة الاشغال وشؤون البلديات والتخطيط العمراني لتكون مؤسسة مهنية رائدة توفر خدمات عالية الجودة.

وأشار المهندس الصباح إلى أن 12 موظفاً ممن شاركوا في الدورة تم منحهم شهادات حضور الدورة التي تؤهلهم لحضور دورات تدريبية اخرى متقدمة مثل دورة ادارة المشاريع الاحترافية، موضحاً أن هذه الدورة تعد بمثابة المرحلة الاولى للحصول على الشهادات الاحترافية من معهد ادارة المشاريع في الولايات المتحدة الامريكية.

الجدير بالذكر ان مكتب ادارة المشاريع قام سابقاً بثلاث دورات احترافية في شهادة مساعد مدير معتمد في ادارة المشاريع، انضم اليها 36 موظفاً من الوزارة، وقد تمكن 14 موظفا من الحصول على هذه الشهادة من معهد ادارة المشاريع بما يمكنهم الحصول على المزيد من الشهادات الاحترافية.

وكشف رئيس وحدة إدارة المشاريع مستشار الشؤون الهندسية بالوزارة إنه من شأن خطوة حصول مكتب ادارة المشاريع على رخصة التدريب الاحترافية من معهد ادارة المشاريع بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية تمكين المكتب من رفع مستوى نضج واحترافية المكتب وتحسين الخدمات التي يقدمها للوزارة ورفع مستوى التعلم والتحصيل في مجال إدارة المشاريع، بالإضافة إلى تطوير مهارات وقدرات وأداء الموظفين لضمان إنجاز مشاريعهم بنجاح.

وتقدم مكتب ادارة المشاريع بالشكر إلى إدارة الموارد البشرية لدعمها تنفيذ ونجاح هذه الدورة التدريبية، كما تقدم المكتب بالشكر إلى  شؤون البلديات لتوفيرهم مكان إقامة الدورات التدريبية.

WORKS MINISTRY CONDUCTS THE CAPM^® EXAM PREPARATION COURSE

The Project Management Office (PMO) of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities & Urban Planning, Registered Education Provider (REP^®), has successfully   conducted the Certified Associate Project Management (CAPM^®) course from 28 September to 2 November 2016 at Municipality Training Centre (MTC).

Chief of the Projects Management Unit and Engineering Affairs Advisor at the Ministry Abdul Nabi Al Sabah explained that the course is part of the PMO’s mission to build internal capabilities in the Ministry of Works, Municipality Affairs and Urban Planning to become a “Leading Professional Organization providing quality services”.

He stated that the workshop was attended by 12 participants. Upon the completion of the workshop, Certificates of Professional Development Units (PDUs^®) were issued to the participants. The PDUs^® acquired from the workshop enable the participants to take the exam for the professional certification. This course is an entry level for the professional project management credential from the PMI.

The PMO earlier conducted 3 CAPM^® courses to a total of 36 participants from the Ministry, with 14 participants certified as CAPM^®.

Al Sabah added that being a PMI REP, PMO can now conduct CAPM®, PMP^® and other PMI Credential workshops and award Professional Development Units (PDUs) for the ministry’s staff who hold credentials. This achievement has not only enabled PMO to enter into the new era of maturity whereby PMO can enhance its services to the ministry and take project management learning to a higher level; but will also assist, in developing the required capabilities , PM method application and in the enhancement of skills of the employees to deliver projects successfully.

The PMO is thankful for the support provided by Human Resources Directorate in conducting the workshop and making it a success and also extends thanks to the Municipality Affairs for providing the venue for the workshop.
