وكيل الأشغال: الوزارة حريصة على تلبية احتياجات الشمالية

استقبل سعادة المهندس أحمد عبدالعزيز الخياط وكيل شئون الأشغال بوزارة الأشغال وشئون البلديات والتخطيط العمراني العضو البلدي للدائرة الثانية بالمحافظة الشمالية السيدة بدور بن رجب بحضور المهندس كاظم عبداللطيف مدير ادارة تخطيط وتصميم الطرق وذلك للاطلاع على احتياجات الأهالي من خدمات البنية التحتية في تلك المنطقة.

وفي بداية الاجتماع رحب سعادة الوكيل بالعضو البلدي مشيداً بدور اعضاء المجالس البلدية في تلمسهم احتياجات المواطنين وايصالها للمسؤولين لتقديم افضل الخدمات لهم.

كما أكد المهندس احمد الخياط على أن الوزارة تولي جميع مناطق المملكة الاهتمام بالتطوير وذلك ضمن خططها الساعية للنهوض بجميع المناطق والقرى في البحرين، كما وانها حريصة على تلبية احتياجات المحافظة الشمالية، حيث استمع الى الطلبات والاستفسارات المرفوعة من السيدة بدور بن رجب وتمثلت ابرزها في دراسة المداخل والمخارج لبعض شوارع لمنطقة بوري كحل مؤقت لتخفيف الازدحامات في المنطقة إلى حين البدء بتنفيذ مشروع انشاء مدخل بوري، وقد وجه سعادة الوكيل المعنيين لدراسة الموضوع وتغير اتجاه مسارات عدد من الشوارع الداخلية.

كما تقدمت العضو البلدي بطلب ايجاد حل لمشكلة تجمع مياه الامطار في نفق بوري وقد افاد المهندس احمد الخياط بانه يتم حالياً دراسة الموقع لمعالجة المشكلة.

أما في ما يتعلق بقطاع الصرف الصحي فقد تقدمت العضو البلدي بطلب توفير شبكة صرف صحي في عدد من مجمعات في الدائرة الثانية بالشمالية ومنها في الهملة بمجمع 1012 ودمستان مجمع 1022 وبوري مجمع 762. ومن جانبه افاد سعادة الوكيل بأنه سيتم دراسة الطلبات المقدمة وامكانية تنفيذها حسب توافر الميزانية ونسبة العمران في كل منطقة، علماً بأن الوزارة انتهت في وقت سابق من تنفيذ مشروع انشاء شبكة صرف صحي في كل من  بوري مجمع 756 والهملة مجمع 1010 وتعمل حاليا على تنفيذ شبكة صرف صحي في دمستان مجمع 1019.

وفي ختام الاجتماع تقدمت السيدة بدور بن رجب بالشكر لوكيل شئون الأشغال المهندس أحمد الخياط ، مشيدةً بتعاون وزارة الأشغال وشئون البلديات والتخطيط العمراني واعتمادها سياسة الابواب المفتوحة، والتواصل مع اعضاء المجالس البلدية ومتابعة طلبات واحتياجات الأهالي في سبيل النهوض بالبنى التحتية لشوارع وطرق المحافظة الشمالية.

WORKS UNDERSECRETARY REITERATES THE MINISTRY’S KEENNESS TO ANSWER NEEDS OF THE NORTHERN GOVERNORATE

Works Undersecretary of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning Eng. Ahmed Abdul Aziz Al Khayyat received at his office Municipal Council member and representative to the 2^nd Constituency of the Northern Governorate Mrs. Budoor bin Rajab. Present in the meeting was also Roads Planning & Design Director Eng. Kadhim Abdul Latif. The meeting aimed to determine infrastructure needs and requirements of the area.

At the beginning of the meeting, Al Khayyat welcomed Mrs. Rajab and commended the role of municipal councils in accommodating people’s needs. He also stressed the Ministry’s keenness to develop all areas in the Kingdom as part of the plan aiming to improve infrastructure in Bahrain’s towns and villages. Mrs. Rajab raised a number of requests to the Ministry, including assessing the access and exit points along some of Buri’s roads; in an attempt to temporarily alleviate traffic congestions in the area until the project to create an entrance to Buri commences. The Undersecretary directed the concerned team in the Ministry to look into the issue and alter the lanes of a number of internal roads.

Bin Rajab also requested the Ministry to solve the issue of storm water flood in Buri Tunnel. Al Khayyat stated that the Ministry is presently studying the location in order to solve the problem.

As for the sanitary sector, Mrs. Rajab requested the Ministry to provide a sewerage network in a number of blocks in the 2^nd Constituency, including Block 1012 in Hamala, Block 1022 in Demistan and Block 762 in Buri. Al Khayyat said that the Ministry will study all proposals and the possibility to implement them based on allocation of budget and urbanization percentage in each area. Earlier, the Ministry completed the implementation of a sewerage network in Block 756 in Buri and Block 1010 in Hamala. Work is presently underway to implement a sewerage network in Demistan, Block 1019.

At the end of the meeting, Rajab extended thanks to the Undersecretary Al Khayyat and the Ministry for constantly staying in touch with municipal councils and attending to the infrastructure needs of residents of the Northern Governorate.
