خلف يشيد بدور مجلس تنظيم مزاولة

المهن الهندسية في دعم الحركة الاستثمارية

        

استقبل سعادة وزير الاشغال وشئون البلديات والتخطيط العمراني المهندس عصام بن عبدالله خلف في مكتبه بديوان الوزارة أعضاء مجلس إدارة مجلس تنظيم مزاولة المهن الهندسية برئاسة المهندس عبدالمجيد القصاب حيث قدم لهم التهنئة بمناسبة  صدور قرار صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير خليفة بن سلمان آل خليفة رئيس الوزراء الموقر تشكيل مجلس الإدارة الجديد.

وخلال اللقاء هنأ المهندس خلف مجلس مزاولة المهن الهندسية على حصولهم على الثقة الغالية من قبل صاحب السمو الملكي رئيس الوزراء وأكد على دور المجلس في دعم الحركة الاستثمارية في البلاد منوهاً بدور المجلس في تسجيل المكاتب الهندسية البحرينية والأجنبية ومراقبة أداءها وتسجيل مهندسي المكاتب الهندسية والشركات غير الهندسية ومهندسي القطاع الحكومي مشدداً على الدور الذي تلعبه المكاتب الهندسية في سياق تعزيز الشراكة لتبادل الأفكار والوقوف على أبرز التحديات لعلاجها. وأضاف سعادة الوزير أن الافكار المطروحة خلال اللقاء تشكل فرصاً للوزارة للتحسين موضحاً أن الوزارة ستقوم بدراسة تلك الأفكار من خلال قطاعات الوزارة المختلفة.

الجدير بالذكر أن مجلس تنظيم مزاولة المهن الهندسية يقوم بعدة مسؤوليات تتمثل في اشرافه على الاشتراطات التي تنظم عمل المكاتب الهندسية، واشرافه على مهمة الترخيص للمكاتب الهندسية البحرينية والأجنبية ومهندسي المكاتب الهندسية والشركات غير الهندسية (سنوياً) بما فيهم مهندسي الحكومة.

من جانبه شكر رئيس مجلس تنظيم مزاولة المهن الهندسية المهندس عبدالمجيد القصاب صاحب السمو الملكي رئيس الوزراء على الثقة بهذا التعيين، كما أشاد بلقاء سعادة وزير الأشغال وشئون البلديات والتخطيط العمراني مع أعضاء المجلس قائلاً: استعرضنا مع سعادة الوزير موضوع احياء مشروع المفتشين بالتعاون مع البلديات لمراقبة اداء المكاتب الهندسية وضبط المخالفين في هذا المجال ، كما تم التطرق إلى الآليات التي يلتزم بها القائمون على المجلس في سبيل تجنب التجاوزات الحاصلة من قبل بعض المكاتب الهندسية.

حضر اللقاء كل من رئيس المجلس المهندس عبدالمجيد القصاب ونائب رئيس المجلس الدكتورة وفاء المنصوري وأعضاء مجلس الإدارة: المهندسة عفت رضا، المهندس عبدالغني خلف، المهندس مسعود الهرمي، المهندس غازي الصالح، المهندس عمار الخشرم، المهندس ثامر محمد صلاح الدين، المهندسة شهربان شريف.

MINISTER KHALAF COMMENDS THE ROLE OF THE COMMITTEE FOR ORGANIZING ENGINEERING PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE IN SUPPORTING INVESTMENT

HE the Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning Eng. Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf received at his office members of the new Committee for Organizing Engineering Professional Practice, headed by Eng. Abdul Majeed Al Qassab, where he welcomed and congratulated them on HRH the Prime Minister’s decree to form the new committee.

During the meeting, Khalaf congratulated the members on the trust granted to them by HRH the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and stressed the role of the committee in supporting investment in the Kingdom, especially with relation to the registration of international and local engineering offices and procedures related to registering engineers working at the governmental sector.

The Minister explained that the committee’s directives to expedite procedures related to construction licenses, especially investment licenses, underline the committee’s role as a vital partner in those procedures.

The Committee for Organizing Engineering Profession carries our various responsibilities such as supervising the requirements that govern work of engineering offices, supervising permissions for Bahraini and foreign engineering offices and engineers form engineering and non-engineering offices (annually), including government engineers.

Al Qassab extended thanks to HRH the Prime Minister on the trust granted to him. He also commended the meeting with the Minister Khalaf, which highlighted means of facilitating procedures relating to investment projects and overcoming difficulties facing the committee.

Al Qassab also praised the Ministry’s keenness in the work practiced by the committee with regards to organizing engineering offices work mechanism to achieve the best urban practices in Bahrain. The main objective behind the formation of the committee is legislating and organizing the engineering profession in the Kingdom and preserving the interests of clients dealing with offices, including citizens, residents and investors.

‘We discussed with the Minister the issue of reviving the inspectors’ project, in collaboration with the municipalities, for the purpose of monitoring engineering offices performance and detecting offenders in the field. We also highlighted mechanisms practiced by the committee to avoid some of the encroachments at some engineering offices,’ stated Al Qassab.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the committee Abdul Majeed Al Qassab, Vice-Chairman Dr. Wafa Al Mansoori, and members of the committee Eng. Effat Redha, Eng. Abdul Ghani Khalaf, Eng. Masood Al Hermi, Eng. Ghazi Al Saleh, Eng. Ammar Al Khashram, Eng. Thamer Mohammed Salah Al Dein and Eng. Shahraban Shareef.
