WORKS MINISTRY COMPLETES THE PAVING OF DIRT ROADS IN HIDD BLOCK 109

Roads Projects & Maintenance Director at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities & Urban Planning Eng. Sayyed Bader Alawi revealed that the Ministry has completed the paving of dirt roads in Hidd Block 109, through which the Ministry sought to pave 92% of roads in the block and serve 422 residential units.

According to Alawi, the Dirt Roads Program is part of the Government’s program aiming to improve infrastructure in the Kingdom, give priority to the paving of dirt roads in urban areas and create an integrated roads network in all areas in the Kingdom.

Works comprised of paving a total of 8km long roads, paving and asphalting works, implementing storm water drainage channels and ground channels for service use, lighting and signage. 

The BD1,235,832 project was awarded to Al Door Construction Company.
