SATER: ‘14515 USERS FOR MOW’S ELECTRONIC SERVICES SINCE THE
BEGINNING OF 2015’

Hisham Sater revealed that the number of users accessing the Ministry’s 10
electronic services during the third quarter of 2015 reached 3995 users, while
the total number of users registered from beginning of the year until September
was 14515 users. The services can be accessed through both the Ministry’s
portal www.works.gov.bh, and the eGovernment
portal www.bahrain.bh.
According
to Sater, the Ministry has recently upgraded the
electronic services on the Ministry’s portal for the purpose of improving those services.
The
total number of eServices launched by the
Ministry
of Works, in collaboration with the eGovernment Authority, is 10 services; namely: sanitary maintenance request, sanitary
connection request, traffic signals
request, report road fault, abnormal load permission, contractor pre-qualification, materials
testing
results, traffic diversion request, the material/product assessment and building maintenance request.
Statistics revealed that
August attracted the highest number of users, with 1516 users, after which came
July with 1265 users, and then September with 1214 users. The materials testing
results service targeted the highest number of users, and then came the report
road fault service and the material/product assessment service.
