CONNECTING 130 HOUSES TO THE NETWORK
AL HAWAJ: ‘60% PROGRESS IN SITRA SANITARY PROJECT- BLOCK 602’
The Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Services and Acting Undersecretary for Sanitary Engineering at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities & Urban Planning Eng. Ebrahim Al Hawaj revealed that the Ministry has achieved 60% progress in Sitra Sewerage Network Project, Block 602.
According to Al hawaj, the project comprises of extending 2.9km long main and sub lines, constructing 238 inspection chambers and connecting 130 houses to the network. Work also includes extending 0.14km long main and sub lines for the storm water drainage network and implementing 12 drains for the network.
Al Hawaj added that 1300m of main lines and 140m of sub-lines have been extended until the moment, while 72 inspection chambers have been constructed.

The BD398,442 project was earlier awarded to Mohsin Haji Ali.
