CONNECTING 130 HOUSES TO THE NETWORK
AL MANSOOR: ‘52% PROGRESS IN DAR KLAIB SANITARY PROJECT- BLOCK 1048’
The Assistant Undersecretary for Sanitary Engineering at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities & Urban Planning Eng. Khalifa Al Mansoor revealed that the Ministry has achieved 52% progress in Dar Klaib Sewerage Network Project, Block 1048. The project is part of the Ministry’s plan to improve sanitary services in the Southern Governorate.
According to Al Mansoor, the project comprises of extending 2.2km long main and sub lines, constructing 1 pumping station and 109 inspection chambers, in addition to connecting 55 houses in Block 1048 to the network.
Al Mansoor added that 730m of main lines and 200m of sub-lines have been extended until the moment, while 35 inspection chambers have been constructed.
The BD275,715 project was earlier awarded to Crown Electro Motors.
