WORKS MINISTRY COMPLETES PHASE 2 OF SEEF SEWERAGE PROJECT


Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Sanitary Engineering at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities & Urban Planning Eng. Asma Murad revealed that the Ministry has completed phase 2 of Seef Sewerage Network Project, Block 436.

According to Murad, the project is part of the Ministry’s plan to improve sanitary services provide a healthier environment, encourage investment and provide a strong and efficient infrastructure that also supports economic growth.

Murad stated that the project comprises of extending 15km long pipes, connecting 236 houses and 14 real estates to the network and constructing 2 lifting stations. The project serves Block 436.

The BD2,890,000 project was awarded to Ahmed Mansoor Al A’Ali.


Phase 2 of Seef Sewerage Project aims to connect all houses in the area to the network and also implement a storm drainage network in the area.
