FAKHRO VISITS SOUTHERN GOVERNORATE’S 3^RD AND 6^TH CONSTITUENCIES

The Roads Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities & Urban Planning Eng. Huda Fakhro visited Southern Governorate’s 3^rd and 6^th Constituencies to inspect roads and sanitary needs, accompanied by MP Anas Bu Hindi, Chairman of the Municipal Council and representative to the 3^rd Constituency Ahmed Yousif Al Ansari and representative to the 6^th Constituency Najeeb Hamad Al Kuwari.

During the visit, a number of issues relating to roads and sanitary needs at the constituencies were highlighted, including creating an entrance to houses located along Road 2101 in Block 921 in Riffa, paving the slope along Road 2110, lowering the pavement along the intersection of Road 2103 and Abu Shaheen Avenue and expediting the paving of the remaining part of Abu Shaheen Avenue Interchange with Al Moataradh Avenue. As for Block 915, the municipal members requested the maintenance of Road 1503 in East Riffa.

The meeting also referred to the revamp of Noon Avenue in West Riffa and the urgent need for a traffic signal along the Interchange of Noon Avenue and Umm Al Na’asan Avenue.

The members also requested the construction of parking spaces near Al Ghatam Mosque along Road 1405 in Block 914 West Riffa, in addition to considering the lowering of pavements along Um Jelaid Avenue in East Riffa and creating entrances to Block 917 in East Riffa.

As for sanitary services, the members requested the implementation of a storm water drainage tank in Block 915, Road 1503 in East Riffa, finding a solution for storm water flood near the park located along the Intersection of Roads 1626 & 1628 in Block 916 in West Riffa and looking into storm water drainage in Block 918, Road 1823 in West Riffa.
