FAKHRO AND JUNAID HIGHLIGHT INFRASTRUCTURE NEEDS IN THE 10^TH CONSTITUENCY IN HAMAD TOWN

The Roads Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities & Urban Planning Eng. Huda Fakhro met with Municipal Council member of the Northern Governorate’s 10^th Constituency Taha Al Junaid, in the presence of a number of officials and engineers from the Ministry, where they discussed infrastructure needs in the area.

The meeting highlighted a number of issues related to the Ministry’s plans and projects for the constituency. The Ministry’s Roads Planning & Design Director presented the Ministry’s plan for the years 2015-2018.

Mr. Al Junaid requested the Ministry to replace linear parking spaces with vertical parking along Road 1452 in Hamad Town (Block 1214), construct more parking spaces, implement red brick in the area surrounding the playground located along Road 1423 (Block 1214), construct parking spaces along Avenue 8, pave dirt spaces surrounding Rowdha Primary School for Girls (Block 1208) with red brick and construct parking spaces along Road 813 (Block 1208).
