KHALAF AND MP BUFARSAN DISCUSS BUSAITEEN PROJECTS

HE the Minister of Works, Municipalities & Urban Planning Eng. Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf received at his office MP Isa Bufarsan; representative to the 1^st Constituency in Busaiteen. The meeting was attended by Municipalities & Agriculture Affairs Undersecretary Dr. Nabeel Abul Fath. Roads Assistant Undersecretary Eng. Huda Fakhro, Muharraq’s Municipality General Manager Saleh Al Fadhala and Urban Planning Affairs Structural Planning Director Eng. Khalid Al Ansari.

During the meeting, the Minister Khalaf commended the cooperation between the Ministry, the Parliamentary Council and Municipal Councils; stressing the importance of regular meetings between the Ministry, MPs and municipal council members.

Khalaf also added that the meeting highlights the constant coordination between the Ministry and MPs; reiterating the Ministry’s keenness to provide high quality services to citizens in all Governorates, and implementing plans and projects upon agreement with citizens and their parliamentary and municipal representatives.

MP Bufarsan referred to a number of issues, including phase 1 of Block 228 roads pavement works, the remaining sewerage works in Block 228 in Busaiteen, commercial roads licenses, the slow action in paving the road in front of Lutah Mosque, paying contractors financial dues, ensuring the competency of the cleaning company close to the cabins along Busaiteen Beach, and reviewing real estate categorization standards in the area; where the Ministry explained that the categorization process has not changed, only some requirements have changed.
