WORKS MINISTRY QUALIFIES 29 ENGINEERS IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT BASICS


The Project Management Office at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities & Urban Planning organized a workshop on basics in project management, in collaboration with the Human Resources Directorate. The workshop was attended by 29 trainee engineers from various engineering sectors.

The workshop is part of the Ministry’s policy aiming to improve skills and knowledge of new engineers to enable them to master project management and train engineers and technical cadres to implement future projects based on the highest standards. The workshop also aims to qualify the second rank of engineers and project managers.

The Ministry has taken initiatives to improve the skills of the cadre responsible for implementing projects. All sectors of the Ministry participate in the application of project management system, which is a measurable system that employs the right amount of effort and control to any project of any type and classification.

At the end of the workshop, the Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Services Eng. Ahmed Al Khayyat distributed certificates to all participants.
