FAKHRO AND AL DOSARI DISCUSS INFRASTRUCTURE NEEDS AT THE SOUTHERN GOVERNORATE’S 9^TH CONSTITUENCY

The Roads Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning and Chairman of the Municipal Councils Coordination & Follow-up Committee Eng. Huda Fakhro met with representative to the Southern Governorate’s 9^th Constituency Bader Al Dosari, where they discussed infrastructure needs in the area.

The meeting highlighted a number of issues related to roads and sanitary services at the constituency, where Mr. Al Dosari enquired about updates related to Block 1056 revamp project in Zallaq. Fakhro explained that the roads affairs has already commenced the designs for the project, which are expected to soon complete. As for sanitary services, Fakhro stated that roads in Block 1056 have been surveyed in order to determine the appropriate mechanisms needed to upgrade the sewerage network in the block. The Ministry will present the final designs to the municipal council prior to implementation.  

Fakhro stated that the Ministry is taking care of the 9^th Constituency and all areas in Bahrain as part of the plans aiming to revamp towns and villages in Bahrain.

Al Dosari commended the Ministry’s collaboration with municipal councils in order to attend to citizens’ and residents’ needs in the constituency.
