WORKS MINISTRY DEMOLISHES AND RE-CONSTRUCTS PART OF THE CASINO GARDEN FENCE IN MUHARRAQ

 The Works Affairs Undersecretary at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning Eng. Ahmed Al Khayyat revealed that the Ministry has commenced the demolition and re-construction works of the Casino Garden fence in Muharraq, in addition to replacing the garden’s entrance and gate, painting the remainder of the fence and health facilities and replacing all lights on the fence. The BD49,600 project aims to expand the street and provide additional parking at the main entrance to the garden goers.


Al Khayyat explained that the Ministry’s Building Maintenance Directorate is supervising the civil and mechanical works involved in the project, which was awarded to Brodanshal Commerce. The electrical works were awarded to Esmaely Lenzohm Electrical Co W.L.L..


Works comprise of constructing new parking spaces, which are to be constructed by the Building Maintenance Directorate following the completion of the fence works. The project also includes the expansion of the road located at the southern part of the Casino to create additional parking aligned to the Casino Garden.


The expansion of the road will improve traffic flow and allow for the provision of more parking spaces in the area, which is known for its high population and increased 
traffic volumes.
