FAKHRO AND AL-ANSARI DISCUSS INFRASTRUCTURE NEEDS AT THE SOUTHERN GOVERNORATE’S 3^RD CONSTITUENCY

The Roads Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning and Chairman of the Municipal Councils Coordination & Follow-up Committee Eng. Huda Fakhro met with Chairman of the Southern Governorate Municipal Council Ahmed Al Ansari, where they discussed infrastructure needs at Governorate’s 3^rd Constituency.

The meeting highlighted a number of issues related to roads and sanitary services at the constituency, where Mr. Al Ansari requested the Ministry to revamp Road 3323 in Block 933 in Riffa, construct a parking lot in Block 933 in Riffa, construct Road 4114 in Block 941, revamp Road 4130 in Block 941 in Riffa, connect Road 4131 to Road 4103 in Block 941 and pave Road 4104 in Block 941.

He also asked for the connection of Roads 3501 and 3503 in Block 935, the removal of columns along Road 3501 in Block 935, planning public parking along Avenue 37 in Block 937, maintenance of Road 3410 in Block 934 and expansion of the same road at the turn nearby Abu Al Fath Mosque.

Al Ansari also suggested paving the land opposite to Shaikhan Mosque in Block 935 with asphalt, transforming Road 3519 in Block 935 into a one-way street and constructing pedestrian pavements along Roads 3346, 3345, 3341 and 3343 in Block 933. As for sanitary services, Al Ansari requested the Ministry to solve the issue of storm water flood along Road 3334 in Block 933.
