MicroCenter Group Organizes its User Conference for the Year 2015

Manama April 19, 2015:  Acting Undersecretary and Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Services at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning Eng. Ahmed Al Khayyat   inaugurated MicroCenter Group Annual User conference for the 2015, on behalf of HE the Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Eng. Essam Bin Abdulla Khalaf.  The conference was held at the Diplomat Radisson Blu, welcoming nearly 120 attendees who came from more than 60 organizations.

At the beginning of the conference, the president of MicroCenter Dr Ghulum Bakiri welcomed Mr. Al Khayyat and the guests, commending the contribution made by MicroCenter in the economy of the nation though the past 3 decades.

He also referred to the launch of the company’s new enterprise business solution MCA-eBIZ, a web enabled ERP system based on Oracle Technology; where he explained the functionality of the system as to how an investment made in the system by small and medium companies could lead in improvement of business processes resulting in higher productivity and consequent cost savings.

The conference is considered to be part of MicroCenter’s annual interaction with its partners and stakeholders.

During the conference, it was further stressed that such investments could prove to be a turning point for the growth of the businesses as it not only brings efficiency within the organization but also enables them to increase their customer base.

The conference was also addressed by the representatives of Oracle and other vendors who are MicroCenter’s technology partner for various Business Systems. The technology expert from Oracle explained various technical aspects of Oracle database and tools that could be effectively used for getting right information from Business Systems.

Al Khayyat also visited the technology show case presented by MicroCenter and its business partners.
